11 November 2007 In October I have traveled to Prague to draw and take pictures as part of the "Walpurgisnacht" project research. I have just put the drawings from the trip in the Drawing section. Douglas Haddow of The Aesthetic Poetic online magazine interviewed me earlier this month on the subjects of book design, my work and Dostoyevsky. The interview can be read at www.theaestheticpoetic.com 22 July 2007 Just updated the Freelance Illustration section. You will find some of my most recent work there. Also I have put up a few new illustrations that I am doing for a book by Gustav Mayrink "Walpurgisnacht" (they are in the book illustration section). This is a long term project and the plan is to have 40 illustrations done by next summer. I'll be puting them on the site as they are completed, so check back again soon! 26 February 2006 It's in stores! Penguin Classics have used one of my illustrations for the cover of their new edition of "The Diary of a Madman and Other Stories" by Nikolai Gogol. The book was released last month in UK. 20 January 2006 Thanks to everyone who attended the Artist Annual exhibition at the Black Market Gallery. Here are some pictures from the opening night. Juxtapoz magazine covered the event, you can find some photos at their website. The place was so packed that the fire brigade came towards the end of the night! If you missed the opening, the show runs unill February 25. 16 November Two pieces of mine appeared in the LeGun magazine, which was produced by the alums of the Royal College of Art in London. The magazine features a number of contemporary british illustrators and comic artists.
